The first Bhandaram built for the temple, the Devi Kshetra Bhandaram, stands at Panichayam Canal Junction. For generations, this sacred space has played a vital role in temple traditions, including festivals and Desa Vilakku rituals, where offerings are customarily presented here. Countless devotees visit this site to pay their respects to Panicherikaavilamma, seeking blessings and offering their heartfelt contributions
For the past 65 years, the Devi Temple Bhandaram stood on land donated by Sri Mohanan Thacharu Kudi in Payyal. With the divine grace of the Goddess, it was recently rebuilt through the collective efforts of the Payyal Devotees’ Community. A new structure was erected on one cent of land, generously acquired for the Bhandaram’s reconstruction. The inauguration of the newly built Bhandaram took place on February 5, 2025 (Makaram Bharani, Kollavarsham 1200), under the spiritual guidance of the temple’s chief priest, Sri Santhosh Kumar. The day’s events continued with an auspicious Deeparadhana at the temple Bhandaram, followed by Prasada Oottu (sacred feast) and cultural performances
